This Tuesday, the city council will vote on item #17. Which is to increase the fare of the Compton Renaissance Transit from .50 cents to $1.25. In addition, the approval will cut one of the five routes that exist currently. If approve by city council, the new fare increase will take effect on August 1, 2011.
